This adobo blend is my go-to all-purpose seasoning that brings bold, savory flavor to just about everything. Skip the store-bought versions with additives and make your own clean, delicious batch right at home!

Ingredients

Adobo: (makes about 3 cups)

  • ⅓ cup sea salt
  • ⅓ cup onion powder
  • ½ cup garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp white pepper
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 3 tbsp coriander
  • 4 tbsp dried oregano
  • 3 tbsp turmeric

Notes:

Use it as a base for arroz con gandules, beans, soups, stews, and marinades.

Store properly: Keep your adobo in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place. It should stay fresh for up to 6 months.

Boost it with extras: Add smoked paprika, cumin, or even a pinch of chili powder if you want to give it a deeper or spicier kick.
